LEONARD MURPHY | President and CEO
Lenny has the ultimate responsibility for managing company operations. He has been in the market research field for eight years, serving in senior level Operational and Sales roles, and as President of MDM Associates, a MR consulting firm, before co-founding Rockhopper Research.
His career in research began as the Director of Call Center Operations for The Myers Group (TMG) in Atlanta GA, a certified vendor by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to conduct the HEDIS®/CAHPS 3.0H surveys for health plans. At TMG, he oversaw the implementation of hundreds of distinct studies for Managed Care Organizations, Hospital Systems, Ambulatory Care & Physician Group Practices, and Pharmaceutical Companies, most primarily focused on measuring satisfaction levels of constituents. After a successful tenure at TMG, he left to assume the role of Vice President of Operations and Client Services at DialTek, a research provider focused on using automated telephony as a methodology for research. There he oversaw the successful implementation of numerous service satisfaction tracking studies for Fortune 500 clients, multiple large polling initiatives, and a comprehensive state-sponsored tobacco usage tracking study.
Before catching the research bug, he accrued over 11 years of experience in senior-level roles with Weblink Wireless, Ryder TRS, Jackson Hewitt, and H&R Block. His area of specific expertise is developing innovative marketing research solutions that align with organizational needs to increase market share and profitability. Mr. Murphy is a key consultant and advisor to numerous market research agencies, and works across the industry to drive the development of innovative research practices by developing strategic alliances with multiple “best in class” providers.
